Surveys - Request Location Setting

When configuring a new survey for your members you will need to select a "Request Location". This setting controls where the survey appears on the website as well as how the member is allowed to interact with it. There are a number of options to link your new survey to the website.

List Page - The survey can be posted to a list page of all surveys on the website. If the survey has restrictions enabled then only members who are allowed access will see it listed. Login - When a member logs in, they will be forced to complete the survey before being allowed to access the members’ side of the site. Login Deferrable - When a member logs in, they will be given an option to take the survey then, or to defer it to a later date. The administrator setting up the survey can set up a future date, after which, the member will be forced to take the survey on their next login to the website if they have not done so by the date. Once taken, the member will be allowed to access the members’ side of the site. (Please see additional information and screenshots below for details.)** Email - On List Page After Taken - Members who have not been sent the link to the survey will have no way of finding or accessing it on the website. This is best for sending to a specific group of members. Once the member has completed it, they can see it on the survey list page if the site uses one. Navigation Section - When added to a specific navigation section, the member will be forced to take the survey before being allowed to access to that navigation section. For example, if a member is going to the Golf section and the survey is located there, they will not be able to access the page until completing the survey. **The Login Deferrable option allows you to let the member choose to defer taking the survey for a specific number of days (see Days to Defer in this screenshot). Once the member reaches that threshold, the member will be force to complete the survey before being allowed to access the site.
