February 2024 | Strengthen Your Dining Reservations and Marketing Forms
| |
Dining ReservationsIncreased Member ControlWhen editing existing dining reservations, members can now search for a new date and/or time to confirm availability and submit new reservation details. This eliminates the need for members to cancel and rebook a reservation to make a change, resulting in fewer calls to the club for assistance. New Options for Sorting Diner NamesCustomize your dining reservation list view and reports with new, optional columns for Title, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Suffix. These new columns can be selected in the "Show/Hide Columns" interface, be saved as part of a custom column preset, and be leveraged for customized sorting in reports.
Communicate When a Meal Period is FullDining Meal Periods offer a custom message that can be displayed to members when no reservation times are available during that period. This is a great way to explain why the times they're offered may not align exactly with the times they searched for.
This message has a new home on the website, conveniently located just above the search results next to the name of the Meal Period in question.
Marketing FormsRestriction CategoriesMarketing Forms can already be restricted to members by Member Type. This has been expanded on to provide form restrictions based on Member Organization and Member Status.
Security OptionsMarketing Forms now offer security settings similar to other modules in MRM. Use the "Security Access" setting to define whether a form is intended for members only, public only, or both. By default, this will be set to "Public and Private" to ensure consistency with how Marketing Forms have worked historically.
Define Form Effective DatesMarketing Forms can now be given a date span, defining when the form is accessible and eliminating the need to manually deactivate. Now, just set the "Effective Date" and/or "Expiration Date" and let MRM do the rest automatically. To leave the form open indefinitely, leave these fields blank. Improved Linking to FormsWhen linking to Marketing Forms from the MRM Content Linker, speed up the process by filtering out what you don't need with the new "Active/Inactive" filter.
In addition, you can now be sure when a user clicks the form link, they're directed to the desire site view, either public or private. To do this, expand the form in the Content Linker and select either "Private" or "Public" based on your preference.
