How to Change Content Security

All announcements, calendar events, inserts, files, and library documents have content security access where you can control who has access to page or file. For most Clubs, this will set to Private Only which means only logged in members may view the file. If you want to allow public users to view the file you must either choose Public Only or Public and Private.

Public Only documents can only be viewed by users who are not logged in. If a member is logged in and tries to view a document with this access type, he/she will be logged out. Most public documents should use access type Both instead.

Private Only documents can only be viewed by users who are logged in. If the user is not logged in, he/she will be brought to the login page when trying to view a document with this access type.

Documents with access type Both can be viewed by all users.

To change content security levels, edit the page or file and pick the appropriate level from the Security Access section on the General tab. Click Save to update the permissions.

Warning: Do not make any files containing sensitive information public or Public and Private. Public files can be accessed and cached even if you do not link the file anywhere on the site.
