What's New or Enhanced:

Event Registration

MembersFirst has made several enhancements to the Event Registration Admin. Some of the notable improvements include better search capabilities, filtering, bulk updates, registration creation, and much more! Below is an overview of the new dashboard:

The Event Registration dashboard now uses a typeahead field that will allow administrators to easily search by Events, Groups, Members or Guests. Previously, there was a single drop down for when searching for an event or member. Additional functionality also includes the ability to search for events by a single date or date range.

Event details are hidden by default; however, after clicking Show/Hide Event Info the page will expand and display basic event and registration details:

Administrators now have the ability to control which information is displayed. By clicking the Show/Hide Columns, the administrator can choose which information to include when viewing the registration dashboard.

MembersFirst enhanced how registrations are managed. Depending on the status, the administrator can Confirm, UnConfirm, Combine and Cancel registrations. This can be accomplished by Checking All or selecting individually.

Clicking the box for Add New Registration will open up a new window whereby the administrator can search by the member's Last Name or Number. Based on the event setup, the administrator can add additional notes, confirm the registration, override any limits and determine if the member should receive an email notification.

Several enhancements have been made when viewing a member's registration details and the user interface and design have been overhauled. Drop-down options for event details as well as member details have been incorporated for suppressing secondary information.

In addition to the enhanced user interface, MembersFirst has added an Audit log that details changes made to the registration, either by the member or administrator:

There is also a tab for Messages which allows administrators to track emails sent to registrants and administrators. Clicking the Subject link will bring the administrator to Mail Admin, where they can view the message details, including the ability to see if the registrant read the email.

Public Event Registration

Event Registration is now available for the general public. Previously, guests could only be registered by a member of the club. To enable Public User Registration, the event must be using the Enhanced Registration setup. Similar to Guest Registrations, Public registrations are configured the same way - by enabling Public User registration and selecting the Field Entry Classification.

When viewing the event from the Public side of the website, there will be an option for Public Users to register:

Public Users will be required to complete the form based on the Guest Classification set by the administrator:

Similar to Guest registrations made by the Booking Member, a Public User registration is stored in the Guest Directory. Any Public User will not be tied to a member and will be identified as a Public User, as shown below:

Member Event Registration

Enhancements have also been made to the member's registration page. Some of the notable changes include the event date displayed more prominently, a new headcount display, and the ability to show/hide registrant details via a drop-down menu.

In addition to the UI enhancements, the Booking Member now has the ability to book a related member for an event (and not attend), thereby setting the related member as the Booking Member, as indicated below in the screenshot.
